Ghetto Rigged

Well, since I was tired of my two front speakers I decided to do a little science experiment. I took 2 old speakers from an old stereo that didnt work anymore. I took those 2 speakers and put them in my car, hooked them up and tadda! It works, it really thumps now too becuase they are the kind that can take alot of bass. Right now the stereo is hanging half way out of the counsel with speaker wire's running to it so tomorrow im gonna have to get some more speaker wires. So what gauge should I get so I can run my speakers to my trunk? Thanks and ill get some pictures later.

haha yea i got the 18 gauge wire 50 feet for 5 bucks, not a bad buy, just ran the wires under my center counsel, along the back seats, and into the trunk. Sounds pretty good but i need new front ones.

Too bad that I have to save my money to buy a crx i just found. Later

Yea just hook one speaker up to the right rear or left rear wires, and then vice-versa.

It sounds really good if you have the kind that really punch out bass.

Well, here are the long awaited pictures of my ghetto rigging. Enjoy

The picture below is a speaker right behind my seat, so it virbrates my back when I turn up the volume.

Picture of the wires running from the head unit to the trunk.(not very clean but it works)

This is the mess of wires behind my center consel from speaker wires and neon wires. ( I am thinking about trying to wire in a toggle switch today.)

Thats it.
