updates....
Hi,
just 3 pictures for the updates..... The kit on the body is already to receive the first primer.... We could see after if it's necessary to make alterations.....   In fact, some very small holes were visible when the body was dry so the second step is to apply some Putty.... (again) and sand later for a perfect body.....   I can finish the interior now. Updates on the body....
Hi,
just few pics to show the progression of the body.... Now it's all finished...... The hard work is finished.... I sanded carefully with 800 pads the small holles allover the body....    I apply the last primer paint......   I use some part of BARE METAL to finish the muffler....  And the new muffler made from myself is already......  See you for the next updates..... Its looking great and very cleanly done, but IMO i'm not to keen on the bonnet vents. I'd prefer somthing a little more aggresive!
BTW, the fender flares u used from the golf, did they need to be shortened at all, or did it have the same wheelbase?

about fenders flares.....
Hi,
if you see the pics progession, the fenders flares off GOLF GTI MK1 was a great solution to add at this body.... I cut the extemities of the fenders and with some putty adjust the end. Some parts of putty was necessary between the body and the fenders flares..... I'm happy with the result....... Laurent

Updates......
Hi,
now, it's time to paint the bonnet of the car in flat black..... I just masked the all of the car carefully......    I do the same paint with the rear spoiler and the outside mirrors.... and the new muffler just for the pic.....:licker: :licker: :licker: :licker:  Laurent..........

Last update and finish project....

The finished project.............................. I remember that i've a SUBARU chassis or frame..... and i saw that i can use the front radiator to put on the MICRA......  Just painted and glued on the MICRA frame......  I masked the hood with TAMIYA rubber........  The interior is painted with dark black and grey parts....  The frame is painted in dark black.... with some chrome parts....  The body is now painted in metalizer grey....(automotive paint).   I transformed the rear light like the TOYOTA LEXUS.......:licker: :licker: On the back, i just applyed some bare metal and i used some clear front round light that i painted in translucide red.....   The body painted in two colors and the bare metal is applyed on the front lights................. and the rear lights..........   The all body with frame all ready......  The front and rear supension are ajusted to have a lowered version.....   The last pictures for the final.................................     You remember the first picture.............   And the evolution.................   The wheels in 17" with the standart brake disc in red......(13" in the box...):licker: :licker: :licker: :licker: :licker: :licker: :licker: :licker:   The exhaust made by myself and the new design of the rear light.....  Thanks to have comments and happy to see all models on the forum........... Laurent
