Re: ULTIMATE SCRATCHBUILD: 1/6 Hot Rod (Progress)
It looks like you made a die. Are you going to thread some rod, Mike? Or what? Just foolin' with ya. Good to see something is happening with it.

UPDATES:
Started working on the cover piece for the rear. I laminated 10ovals of .030 styrene together with cement, then filed it into shape. Not much to say. It was a lot of work, and made a huge pile of dust. Still have to add some details, right now its just tacked on there. ![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoy! Thanks for all the feedback, and C+C.

Re: ULTIMATE SCRATCHBUILD: 1/6 Hot Rod (Progress)
Bit by little-tiny-bit.... nice work (as usual)
I H-A-T-E that plastic sanding dust!! Drives me nuts! I'd love to find a way to build a vacuum of some sort into my desk.... Except it would have to be intelligent enough not to suck up the actual model pieces!! Murray |

Thanks for all the comments guys. Today I need to figure out the bolt pattern for the third member, and start building it.

Re: ULTIMATE SCRATCHBUILD: 1/6 Hot Rod (Progress)
Line up that crack and snort it...I mean, looking awesome. I would try and 8 bolt and a 10 bolt pattern then pick the one that looks best. Are you going to make 1/6th scale decals/stickers for the company logos to go on the parts?

UPDATES:
Got some pics at school today. Been working on the buck. Below are pics of the buck thus far. ![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoy! Whumbachumba, no decals. Because on the 1:1 I would remove them. But I may have the belt markings on the motor.
