no disrespect so dont take it wrong because obviously you have talent with your program but your originality is a litte on the low side, too me all the car is, is a mclaren body, mercialago(sp?) convertable roof, and ferrari rear, its cool what you did with the top hiding away--thats original, but even the doors open like a lamborghini i mean c'mon cant you use some of the time you used to make this car and think of something that would appeal to a potential buyer..because if i was looking for a new supercar and had to choose between yours or a mclaren, id go with the mclaren....same look but at least the mclaren has the upper hand in performance...just my 2 cents

well, i been away and ive had to kinda of try and catch up but i agree with a lot of the rest of us about those frames over ur windows.. dude they look out of place especially with the roof off, they shouldnt be there, i cant think of a coupe, sports, or performance car with them and its because it looks a bit lame... also

instead of churning out loads and loads of repetitive angles and colours (althought i did like that silver u had) try work on you rendering skills

i think the model would benefit from being isn slightly better surroundings maybe some moody lighting

take a look and see if you can find inspiration from some of the design competitions. As it stands any of the renders you have produced would not get you anywhere, your model infact might not even be good enough, let alone the slightly outdated design.

i mean it may look good, but that look has been done, its hardly original.
The winner of the peugeot retrofuturism design competition his car is called the "lion" and you should take look honestly its a perfect render, a very original idea in keeping with the competitions aim. That kind of work is going to get you far... yours.. well needs improving

Now im at university doing product design but i will always have a love for car design. I can model and render... not to well at the moment we are learing alias wave front autostudio, 3ds max is next year, photshop been done.
What i am saying is i know whats gone into making that model its not easy at the best of times, but i think even your skills need improving if you wish to get chosen above others

I know that you must be getting sick as hell of all these posts you are getting, but I still want to add my 2 cents. The rear bumper is excellent except for 1 thing...It really wraps up the rear wheels and I tend to like to be able to get some sense of the width of the rear tires on a supercar: example Bugatti Veyron. Anyways, all in all a flawless addition to supercars. good job. Oh yeah, last thing...frameless windows wistle in the wind, its a prety common problem with frameless windows.

WOW very nice, its a Mclaren F1, F50, diablo, xj220!!!

lol, still its a great mix and all versions look cool! i particularly like the one with the more mclaren f1 looking back half.. (one without the side engine air intakes)

I would say if it were real.. probably up there in the top 3 at least.. but hey if it were real life, i could be swayed to vote no#1!!!!!!!!

The problem is he probably doesnt like those types of designs.. i know i dont, and to me they look far less practical that even the phantom or whatever this cars full name is.

In my above post i was optimistic, i suppose thats how i would look at this car if none of the other cars it resembled existed. Its nice, but a little over done and unoriginal. I agree you could make your renders a little more realistic.. but that has little to do with your car design.

I love the car, besides being a little out going and ofcourse its 'fusion of many cars' look.

Use design concepts you like, but not copy them completely.. thats what i would do when designing a car, i would love to do tha kind of thing.. but apparently my taste in car designes is allready dated and im not even an adult yet.. wow what a world we live in..

EDIT: OMG i had a render of your car from ultimate carpage.com and i thought it was a real image.. how did your renders get so much better?? its amazing and from that angle it looks alot more original!!! nice!!!
