Wow, thanks...that does suck about 800X600, but oh well. I'm torn between the silver V-Spec II and the black 25 GT T Skyline (much better looking, IMO)....

Actually, I think I'd much rather have a black 25 GT T than a GT-R. I like the looks better, I like rear drive as opposed to AWD, and it's cheaper....(I assume... )

Wow, yeah, it's only half the price of the GTR I might be going to Australia for my 4th year of college, I might look at getting a 2-3 year old (then, new now) R34 25GT T when I'm there.............They're only $45,000 Canadian, that's like the price of a fully specced out Altima V6....hm

I'm all excited now...I'm already checking the Australian Autotrader for used cars Found a 1978 Skyline for $380 AU ($188 US)

Wallpaper is not really a memory hog, unless the active desktop is turned on.

I guess you would have a problem with 64MB RAM


try bumping to 768MB RAM and you wont notice a difference.

I was talking to the geeky guy at the computer store, and he said that RAM increases lose their effectiveness as you get higher. For example (Don't quote me, I don't remember numbers so I'm making these up): 8MB is like 60% better than 4, but 256 is only like 10% better than 128...

I dunno...

It also depends on what OS you use. For instance, Windows 9x really cannot effectivly use past 256 MB of RAM.
