[Jakesbrotherbrian]

Hello all, this is Jakes brother Brian (if you couldnt tell lol). I have talked to a couple members from here in the last few days and realize that there has been a problem so I decided to join the site and follow this thread. Now I know I helped Jake build the crate that the transmission went in and I even rode with him to the shipping place. The reason I dont know what shipping company he used is because there is 3 companies in 1 building here. UPS, FedEx, and the post office. He went in, then came back out a few mins later, and some guy came around with a fork lift and picked it up out of the back of his truck, then we left. So from that point on I have no clue where it ended up. Now for the valve cover (I believe that was the other concern) I dont know anything about that. I guess you will have to talk to him about it.

Yes, our grandmother died 2-1/2 weeks ago. I wasnt really close to her but Jake was. Both our grandmother and grandfather moved to Florida right around 2 years ago after our father died. Since then he has gone down just about every other month to see them. He is a very busy guy, and frankly I am surprised to see that he is a moderater on this site. He doesnt have much time for anything let alone keep up a website. He got his new job about 2 months back and was preparing to move and have everything final by the 1st of December which has happened, although he doesnt have a phone anymore, nor does he have internet. For those of you that I talked to, sorry for misleading you thinking that Jake was actually logged on, he has most of his passwords saved on our computer and I couldnt figure out how to disable them so everytime I would come on the computer I would get bombarded with messages so I just deleted the program and reinstalled the ones I needed to use, like MSN. Also, Chris (I believe is your name) I talked to you early Sunday morning? Thanks for waking me up by the way. My mom would like me to ask you and anyone else to stop calling my house. Its getting very annoying and my Mom and Step-dad are about to change their number since its all over the internet now... and I guess people just wont stop calling for Jake, middle of the night, early in the morning. They are sick of getting woken up just so they can say, "Nope, hes not here".


Personally I know he sent it out unless the guy at the shipping place was stealing it. I could never see him doing such a thing as your saying he is doing! He goes out of his way to help anyone, I remember back this year when he drove to Kansas to help a guy change his cylinder head and the following weekend drove to Chicago to help a guy change his head gasket. Shit, not too long ago he changed a guys transmission fluid for free (someone he met on here). If he was such a theif do you think he would do that? I understand that you are worried and I think I would be if I were you also but you have got to think, maybe something happened in the shipping. I dont know if he wrote the address exactly the way it was perfectly matching the correct address to where he was suppose to send it, shit for all we know it could be 2 houses down or something and people are all sue happy getting ready to throw my brother in jail. People make mistakes, if they didnt, they wouldnt be human. Please just let me try and get a hold of him before you take any legal action. If I have to I will drive up to his place and ask him myself if he knows whats going on. But for now please refrain from calling my house, if you need something just email me or message me on MSN and I will get back to you most likely within 12-18hrs. Thank-you all.

And as for that "JakesBrother blah" thats just a back up. The whole story sounds like a crock. And someone said hes a good guy...? haha if hes such a good guy you would have your tranny already or a full refund back. But NOPE haha

I just want to add that the people who do make fake PayPal account can't really cash in their money because its under a fake name. They could use it to pay you shit but if you file a claim, they take it back 90% of the time. If you can, file a claim. Did you pay with a credit card?

I've known jake on the forums before, he never had any problems before so I would say wait but its all up to you because that PayPal thign looks suspicious. Was that account you paid too verfied?

unverified account, my mom paid with her credit card, and she asked me about the unverified part. but im going to give it a few more days, and people not calling thier house... im a damn telemarketer that never bothers me to hear that , i call until i get what i need. but as for that. i have class, and finals comming in 2 weeks so i need to shift my focus. we will see if it comes or not. and im not accusing him. if i was accusing him of stealing my money, the police would be there with an arrest warrent, and hed be in court within a matter of days. im just stating the fact, for now, or until something swades my judgement.(and by the way, when i called the first time your step-dad said to call sunday morning around 9, i called 9 on the dot. not my fault i call when people give me a time) and the only reason i got concerned is, because he told me while he was in florida "the tracking # is on my desk at home, i will get ahold of you and give it to you as soon as i get home" if i had a # and i knew it was in transit or something was wrong, like its at the office needing to be picked up, id apoligise and let it go.

Watch your mouth. You aren't talking behind his back, and I sure as hell am watching this thread for the first punk who tries to discredit Jake. If he hadn't driven all over the place helping newbies from this site, driven 2 hours to his job and worked 15+ hours a day, then slept at work, then MAYBE I would let people think up "theories" about how he is scamming.

The bottom line is that he is going to have to get his new place and a phone before anyone can contact him. Everyone BETTER believe his brother is trying to help you, because he is the only way you'll talk to Jake. Lastly, if anyone causes his poor parents to change their phone number because they call in the middle of the night, they won't have this site to talk about it anymore.

Personally i joined this site a few months ago, and ever since ive been here jakes been here, to help. and to drive somewere far to help. he use to be on all the time. but he slowly started not getting on anymore, just once in a while. then the thing with 98gsx, and now this? i still believe he is a good guy and all, but theres stuff against him that does miscredit jake. thats why everybody is so upset about it. i know everybody would be upset if they sent $600 somewere and dont know what happen to it. i just hope jake himself can give us a headsup. shit even send a picture of himself waving or something. thats what everybody just wants. 2 cents.

i agree. he is an asset to the af community from what i've heard in the few months i've been here, but that doesn't mean he can leave people hanging with hundreds of dollars in the balance.... it isn't a lot for some people, but believe me, im in college and that's like a fortune. so i trust that he'll make things right, but it is unnerving to hear absolutely nothing.

If everyone trusted him, then this thred would of died out.. but people can put thier selfs in my shoes. and by the way i just got done talking to the person who is working on my car, who has been patient holding my car for 6 weeks, if he wasnt a family friend everyone knows that they would of made me tow my car home till i had the parts. and while talking to him, ups, dhl, usps have a max on shipping, jakes brother said it was forklifed off.... then the limit is around 80 lbs i belive..... so he had to use a private shipping company, and if i could get a tracking number or the name of the company, they might have trouble finding the place its going to becuase i gave the guys name, and not the busniess name. and if i was able to contact them i could clear it up. im not saying jake is a bad person just i am concerned, because if it is a shipping problem and its a private company i dont belive they will drive back to idaho for free! and i paid 170 for shipping, so i wouldnt like to have to pay that agian... make since. even u admin so and so, so ur watching this thred because it has grown so much, am i wrong? And everyone wants to know know whats going to happen, even you. so dont try and threaten me like that, if your not 100% on everything.

and 80 lbs ins't the limit with fedex. i worked for fedex not to long ago and you can put on i believe up to a 140 lbs. pakage before it gets bumped off onto the dock. 140 lbs + goes to frieght. so check with your local fedex terminal. i would think that ups is the same limits on things. and i don't think the usps would ever send something like that.

o, well USPS said 75 lbs. i am assuming it was ups or Fedex. either way a tracking number would be f-ing nice! just getting little agitated, when i had to walk to class this morning becuase it was 8 degrees out side, i would of loved to be in my car with a heater. lol. but n e ways jakes lil brother, contact me, and find a tracking # if he hasnt moved his desk its on top of it.
