Dont worry, our trannies are built tough, tough enough to handle a miss shift at 6500 rpms into third! I did it twice in one night, scared the hell outta me, it really sounded like something broke even though the car kept ridding normally. I did some research and found out you relly dont grind the gears. the sound of GRROOWWWWGGGRRRRRCCKKKLLLLUUUNK
comes from the dog teeth that engage the gear to the driveline. the dog teeth move in and out and thats the grind you hear when you miss shift. its built solid so if you grind and then let off and the gear still goes in then your cool. if you grind and the stick wont go in or the klink klink klink sound persists after your in gear....well then you blew it!

why would a vr4 be a bettre car to rut a v8 in i think they have the same size engbays dont they?

AF is using the google ads for sponsorship for their racing team...or something like that.
As far as putting a v8 in a vr4...i think the original post mentioned a broken vr4...BROKEN being the key word. One that would need a new engine anyway.

That is correct, I said a broken or blown up VR4. The VR-4 has a driveshaft tunnel in the body already, which would make it easyer. Plus it already has a rear diff and everything mounted up.

LOL, man I laugh everytime u say boooyah Musashi :-p, man I'm gonna' work my ass off for a while and make some money, than I'll decide on whether I wanna sell mine and get a VR-4 Or just supercharge it, but I think my total end goal would be to have two 3000GT's; one for daily driving, and the other would be a supercharged VR-4.

Yeah I love cartoons, in fact I spend a good 4 hours a day watching cartoon network and about 8 on the weekends. So one of my fav shows is Teen Titans, love the animation and the hillarity and comic relieve is great. so I hear Cyborg going BOOYAHH all the time and in one episode he builts his own car, a custom ride with a turbine motor and like 100,000 HP, the car gets stolen and in the end the bad guy uses the cars pulse cannon to fire at Cyborg. the funniest part is when the cannon pops up instead of dodging for cover or even flinching Cyborg actually goes "BOOYAAH, look at my babies Pulse cannon, aint it sweet"
Dude I freaking lost it when he said that, I was eating and all the food just flew out from how hard I laughed! ever since I just cant stop saying BOOYAAH!
I too share your Idea of two 3000GTs, ever since I put on the carbon hood I liked it but a part of me felt real bad that I was killing the stock look, which is so unique too. So if I save up and dont crash anymore in about two years I can get a VR-4 and just have a stock daily 3000GT and a Customed out killer VR-4. but goals are goals untill realized. I might just supercharge mine an do minor cosmetic stuff. who knows!

I think because the upgrades and so forth for the VR4 wouldn't make it practical for daily driving.

Um wow i totally passed the limit of how much chocolate my body can process. My dad brought a whole box full of chocolates home yesterday ROFL that box got pw3nd! And i get sooooooooooooooo addicted to chocolate. Anywayz to make a long story short i ate way too much chocolate and threw up brown for an hour eek! It tastes so nasty to throw up chocolate ugh ... on a lighter note my doctor exteded my work disability for 2 weeks more weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Block Buster $24.99 /month Unlimited Rentals.

Oh yea i can't wait till i get my vr4 either. My friend is getting an STI for the summer and my cousin is planning on getting a 300zx TT. I want my vr4! and i want to spinkick the insurance dude for not coming to take a look at my car at the shop yet. Hey does anyone know when Ghost in the Shell 2 comes out? k byez!
