Thats EXACTLY the point I was going to make. Its not about FORM vs FUNCTION, Function over form. Personally, I beleive in FUNCTION over FORM. BUT, the most important thing ISNT the parts on your car, the price of the parts, or whether they were made in the US or Japan. Its whether YOU know how to drive your fucking car -- AND -- whether the parts were installed, tested, and are actually FUNCTIONAL.
I know too many people who buy shit only to say they have it. They dont know how to tune their cars let alone test it if it has problems. These people are the ones who are going to buy SR motors, swap them, and then not maintain them. They are the epitome of trend. All in all, they'll end up with a car thats going to fall apart and end up with new cars.. so I am not worried about the 240SX attention that we've been getting.. because most people wont stick with it. Wow, you guys can get pretty condescending.
I am just now getting into the 240SX. I know basically what I want to do. And that includes a front clip swap. Why is this such an awful thing. Some of the posts in this thread are just as bad as the rice boys that want to do the "JDM Conversion, y0!" EDIT: DAMN, I AM A STUPID N00b!!! Everyone point at the stupid n00b and laugh. Sorry about bringing up a super dead post. I got this thread through a google search. I should have checked the dates.

Just cause you purchase a 240sx does not mean you automatically have to turn into a drifter. As a matter of fact most people that I know with 240sx are scared to drift or are not interested in it at all . So basically what I am trying to say is people have different preferences, that is what seperates us from everyone else. For Example, I hate it when I see a Honda Civic 4 door with Hydraulics and and Dayton style rims on it. Also when I see a Camero/ Mustang with Big Ass Import style exhuast I just want to kick the shit out of there car. So its all about what you want to do. I have 240sx and I plan on getting the S15 conversion, and I am into drifting as well. Some people go "GO", and some people go "SHOW".
