For cutting the tubes i use my motor tool with a diamond cutting disc. A cutter works for brass and aluminum tubes but not the injection needles. I cut them a bit longer than necessary bacause that's also a bit of a rough cut and then sand them shorter with a sanding disc in the motor tool again and eventually if necessary needle files.

My camera is a Nikon D70S with a 60mm Macro. Lighting is just with my IKEA desk lamp and less than perfect but i got used to it and photoshop helps fix the remaining problems more or less:-)
