Hey 1990civic, that peice of styofoam does work too. It helps absorb most of the damage and keep it from traveling to the rest of your car. It really don't look like it does much, in fact looks pretty cheap, but they wouldn't put that there just for the fun of it.

Um no, the front bumper has a big metal bar also. I've taken off both my bumpers many a time and I know this as a fact.

i dont think it does both my bumpers are off, and i dont remember a front support, but anyway you look at it with the WW kit you are supposed to keep the support, or supports on, not take them off.

MyFirst4g, I'm sorry to hear about that man, your car was starting to come together really nice, all this shit is happening way too quick one day ali's car is fine the next you get on here and all ya see is "yea I totaled my car today". Anyway I dropped you a PM about getting your tokico's if they're ok and if you can get them off. Anyway I'm not in any hurry, just concentrate on getting all this stuff straightened out right now then you can start parting it.

BTW you only remove the stock front bumper when you put the kit on, the metal support stays.

On a USDM Civic the big metal bar comes off with the bumper. If you don't have one then your bumper must be held to the car with magic because thats what bolts it onto the car.

there is a support upfront. and actually, funny you mention that. ali's wasn't on which was making the bumper sag (where he got the saggin' quote from me). i was wondering to myself last night if that support had ever been put on. don't tell me if it wasn't....no seat belt + no bumper support = me @ ali for being so negelagent with his life
