The trumpets are made from (semi) clear epoxy/resin.

Great job J-M :

No criticisms from me at all but I am curious what you used for the black material as tie-downs on the braided lines? Masking tape maybe?

Hello Alex,
Yes the white metal parts are painted with automotive (Dupont) aluminium color, then it receives a wash.

Cheers,

Do the intake trumpets come with the kit with that finish or did you used something special to achieve that?
Also a little suggestion: the bolts on the reinforcements for the gearbox look kind of plain, I would suggest to pick them out by a wash or different gray. I don't know if they are supposed to be like that because I don't have reference that you surely have, but it kinds of stand out on a well weathered engine. Talk about nitpicking
Hello,
For the trumpets, Alex has answered...... it's OK
I agree for the bolts. I still have to pick them up and also give a little "wash".
Thank you for looking.

Hello Steven,

The black material is what you find on the collar of good wine bottles (Tin? I'm not shure it's the correct word, in french it is "étain")
sorry once again for my poor english....

Thank you for looking.

Hello,
I know......
It seems that my provider changes the size of my pictures after some times, so doing is also changing the adress......
That's why they don't appaer anymore.
I tried to re-install them but I can only put them in a smaller size........
Sorry for that...
Does anybody knows of a good system that holds the picture at the good size (800 as the base)??

Fantastic interior, that's some great innovation for the seats. I like how you put so much attention to each part.
