Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

Just an idea. What if we made one of each Ferrari model from the past 60 years? Make a list of all the models, and as different modellers "sign up" then the other modellers must choose another model. Would result in an impressive lineup, even if everone cant build their favorite model.

That's what i was thinking about. As you can see we already have a poster. And the avatar is just like our business card, differentiating us from each other IMO. So I think that part could be better not the same. How do you think guys?

And I'm sure I'd love to make some kit that you can take as your banner or put them on your signatures. Will do it asap.

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

I don't think it's a good idea to leave members with fewer options for what to build, but instead, I think duplicate should be allowed. But it's a good idea to have a directory in chronological order.

How about updating the first post of this thread? Like year, designation and AF user name, separated by commas, and if there's a progress thread, make it a link. Even if one's progress thread isn't ready, we'll still see who's making what. I'm especially interested in seeing a list for the FXX.

Would you like to manage such a list, instead of asking a mod to start a new thread?

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

I'm in with couple of models, probably from the older end of Ferrari lineup.

This would be a fantastic idea to see at the end, but hard to do I guess, the whole idea is against the spirit of "Rules is no rules, 100% Freedom" that I like so much, that allow OOB, 100% scratchbuilt, fantasy and concept cars, phantom racers... seem this thread is following the former group build discusion.... and is ok not start from zero with concept every one. I discovered COLORSlol

Yes I agree with you. Our rule is let people do what ever he wants to do.

And that list idea is very good, I'll do it. As soon as one decided what to build or has already started a WIP thread I'll add his info to that list, thanks Hiro!

BTW: What a colorful post gio~~~

OK,
I'm in with my 360 CS, I've also needed an excuse to start my 1/12 312T.

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

The great thing about the ammout of interest already is that we should see alot of differnt builds and I would bet they will touch on just about every gerneration of Ferrari. So no rules is better, this is supposed to be fun right?

Re: AF Group Build: A Tribute To The 60 Red Years

Mmmm! Sounds interesting! Just need to decide which one, as I'm not a huge Ferrari fan TBH. Probably be a Daytona, 250 or Dino - if the latter, it will be without the Ferrari badging as they never had that when new!
