well hell
Everyone seems to be pissing you off so I'll probably end up doing the same thing even though I don't mean to.
But why didn't you get a 2 door Maxima to street race rather then a 4 door? They do make 2 doors right?

And how could you ever EVER say that your car with the screen in the front looks any better than a WRX. You want to know why the WRX "feels jumpy at high speeds?" because it isnt a boat like your little grocery getter. It's lightweight and meant to be responsive. The maxima is a family car.And i forget who said it, but whoever said that the WRX is slow. Come on. "oh, oh, its like 50 hp less than the STI" YES it is, but that doesnt make it slow. Just because there is a car faster than yours doesnt make yours slow, and just because there is a car slower than yours, it doesnt make your car fast. In fact, id rather have a fiat than a civic. jeeze, the civic is no power plant. Why is it that the ONLY people who think that are in America? Over in Japan, the TYPE R Civic (apparently a legend in the states) is nothing more than a grocery getter. Oh, and Bryan, what car is that in your signature? I cant put my finger on it. Nice car though, heh.

Plus I didn't get this car in mind with making it a pure racer(keep comments to yourself). I just got interested in it.

My car is wee, SpecGirl2, you're car is not so wee, and TV, you're car is friggin' huge..
I bet that my little MGB GT is one of the smallest racers in this forum. But, hey, I need it to be small, nimble and lightweight when there's only 130hp at the rear wheels. Thank you, British engineers who made my floorpan out the steel equvalent of crepe paper. Thanks to you my car weighs somewhere between 1900-2200lbs. (even less if I don't weld in new sills soon, I can see the road between my heels when I shift)

The kid is 16, just got the car, doesn't now what the f*ck a cam looks like.... thinks NOS is God, and is sportin a automatic... (no offence intended on the automatic thing, i got one too) |

kidding Automatics make perfect launches, shift faster than -any- driver, and if shift points are set to exactly right, youll be a hell of alot better than any manual. Unless you want to do auto-x

hrmm
im sorry man but an auto will never shift be better than a manual for launching because the auto shifts much slower than manual you also lose power unless you have a lockup torque converter you also cant change the shift points if you mod it or such autos are nice but not necassarily faster

hey, powerbraking and neutral-droping rule! Just kidding. An Automatic is good in a race situation because you can't screw up like with a manual. You know, maybe you are so hella nervous and your hands are sweaty that you shift from second straight to fifth. Alright that is a really bad example, but you kind of see my point.
