Machined the new lights

I'm looking forward to a bit of free time during Christmas so hopefully I'll have completed photo's then.

It is looking good
Would it be difficult to machine them?

Hi,

the model looks very good, however the flocking material of the seat is too thick, looks like the seat-surface in a lowrider.

The engine room is outstanding. What material did you use for the seat belts?

The lights look good. Do they have a lense over the lights themselves, in addition to the light covers on the body? Its hard to tell.

A tip for you guys with lathes. An easy way to make a headlight reflector is to use an appropriate sized ball end mill in the tail stock and cut the reflector surface in a few seconds with one operation.

Your Jag project is coming out really well. Keep it up, and good luck!

Re: Le Mans Contest Entry: Jaguar XJR-9LM - Progress

Nice work. I am patiently waiting to see this finished

Does anyone know if this kit is still available? I wanted it years ago (many, many years) but could never find it. Is the Hasegawa kit the same or similar?

Thanks, Mick

Tamiya recently reissued the XJR-9 so it should be fairly easy to find. The Hasegawa version is curbside, but available in several different versions.
