donation : a free contribution
A donation is something intended only to help out a good cause, it is not made with the intention or expectation of reciprocation. The way it is on the .org, it is paying money for a service. That is a commodity exchange, not a donation.

this shows that the mods from the org is just like the newbies over there. inferior as they may think, believe it or not one of them is, in fact,instigating. this is just weak and pathetic and nothing to show. mods over at the org vent just like some here at AF. it's kinda "stupid" to see our members here get really fired up by the org's mods messing and posting useless things here. it show's them we have the same weak qualities as they do.

it's been great that we have had our experience over at the org and now we've found a common place to share our experiences. we do not need orgs following us. so go build better search functions or make better servers. because that is what we need and yall need to know that is one of the main reasons why we're here.

drop it and go manage the org servers and don't waste your time and our time here with us because it's not worth it for you. your servers are more important than this thread.


as for everybody else, this is cool. the thing now is, the mods from the org seems to have followed us and are trying provocative approaches to cause flame on this thread, and potentially in other threads. it turns out that the mods there seem to be very sensitive. so i suggest that we Automotive Forumers drop the org-Mod subject and leave them entirely out of this. any inputs please share it but leave the org out, we're better than some ppl there, and we all know they need time to recognize. mods from other places are welcome as long as you forget the whole past issues.

so don't bring any flame with you from the org. peace

That is a funny name you chose Big Bad Org Mod and I understand that you did it to mock the people talking about you guys (moderators) over at the org.

To me this whole .org and .afforums thing should be one big forum because I see the same sh*t at both sites but that isn't why I would want it to be one big forum.

The reason I would want it to be one big forum so that everyone can do what the sites were originally intended to do and that is express our enthusiam, knowledge, affection and appreciation for the Maxima.

This is what I'm about and as long as I have the car, I will continue to be about it. We have A-holes here and they have A-holes there, let's just all try to do a better job of not addressing the A-holes in any way, shape or form and then they will have nothing to flame on about.

If we continue to fight, fuss and cuss, we will have missed our chance to learn something or see something useful, funny, interesting or productive of which flaming, hatin or whatever you want to call it delays those great opportunities.

Big Bad Org Mod, it is just my opinion but I believe that Moderators should be setting the ultimate example of leadership on the sites by being fair (not that you aren't) being honest and not encouraging negative or ignorant responses by agreeing or disagreeing with one member or the other (that is what Moderating is).

As the moderator you should'nt egg on people who contradict, disagree with or flame each other or you, you should defuse the situation by encouraging us to stay on topic or by just saying that comment wasn't necessary or anything to end or not encourage the flaming and insults.

I don't want to sound preachy or to tell you how to do your job, I just know that if I were in your position of power that I wouldn't abuse it and that I would be fair, even if I disagree or agree with someone.

Right is right and wrong is wrong, period and there is no in between and that is where the Moderator should stand no matter if you are a donor or not.
