Re: YAMAHA YZR-M1 2005 GAULOISES No.46

Young Gun - you - Sandro - Andrea - Zed red - have really increased the level of what can be done with these Tamiya motoGP kits and some skills to modify them with what is available and scratch-building. Your work on the "muffler - exhaust" is the best I've seen so far. I realize that "hair" is used to make the "mold lines" on the tires, but just how did you do that? It looks good, but I'm not quite sure that real tires - worn or new - have that look exactly. Maybe less of the mold lines would be better. What was your reference for that modification? Thank you for posting your work - keep up with your WIP it is very helpful. - John.

Thank you friends for your kind replies.

Years have passed since my last post.

I've finished the instrument panel module with data logger and signal cables and front wheel module.

I hope you like it.

Thank you for watching.

Thanks work mates.

Made a stand again.

This time, I used 1mm brass beam. But it looks a little bit thick.

Did you see it? I made a hole and put in a pin.

And some more pictures during wiring.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for watching.
