> So do you use slick at the track with your Viper?

Yep, 11.5x26-16s. It's not enough in 1st gear, but it usually hooks up in 2nd.

Scott what the hell are you talking about. I'm asking a question not trying to argue. In fact I was trying to ask treynor or whoever would know the answer to my question like Viper 10, or another viper owner.

Also with that kind of power and slicks, does your car do wheelies treynor?

Nope, chassis doesn't transfer enough weight for that. It just spins 'em off the line, and through 2nd if I'm on the bottle.

because they have an ass load of power, and if you don't know how to use it correctly it results in loss of traction....

Is using it properly the only case? I thought there was more to it then that. Is it possibly independent rear suspension and a lot of torque = little traction?

The Chevelle SS with the ls6 454 put out around the same power as a Viper, if not more torque, and I never heard of it having traction problems. But that had the stiff rear in the back, I think it was a 12 bolt as well.

Oh well. At least he's doing a lot better than the average teenager. No matter what car it is.. it's still pretty cool to be able to take down them Vipers.

I just noticed this on your website and again I have another question, sorry if I'm asking too many.

"Complete Custom Wheels drag slicks / skinnies package (11.5x26x16 M/T ET Streets) "
Aren't ET Streets similar to slicks but with a little bit of tread on them? Why aren't you using a straight drag slick?
