Wow, this is coming along great. You sure have patience for detail, Jamme. Maybe I have missed it in the wip but how did you tint the fuel lines?

Hello,
Thank You.
I made a mix from Yellow and Orange translucent Gunze colors.
The mix is 80% Yellow and 20% Orange.

Cheers,

Jamme

I love it, fuel lines realy needed some paint on them, they are now just right.

Washes are just perfect.

Jamme,

cant believe I have missed this thread - stunning work, its coming together beautifully. I especially like the weathering you are putting in, it is both realistic and really well done. I will have to invest in some zippo too me thinks!

brilliant stuff.

Re: WIP MFH Ferrari 512S Coda Longa 60 Red Years

Hello to Everybody.
Thank you for all looking.
Apologise for the long delay, but here it is.............

A little UP!!!!!

I decided to have a little modelling on the interior.
The seats were finished, put in place as were the seat belts.
The gear stick was also put in place.
Here are some pictures:

I also had a little wiring into the engine compartment.
Pictures talks a lot more than words.......
Here they are:

I also finished the intake trumpets, and installed them....:

Overal Picture of the work done till now:

I also made the front suspension.
Still need to put more things inside there......

So, that's all for today,
More tomorrow (I hope...........! if there is not much to do for the Lady.....!)
I'm waiting for your critics, comments and of course questions........
I don't bite, you know...................

Cheers,

Jamme

Very nice! What did you use for the seats? SMS decals?

Thank You very much!
For the seats I made the pattern on my computer and printed it on .......my printer.....!
I know the pattern is too great, but I cannot do it smaller.
Thank you for your question anyway.

It looks very nice, even though I think a little bit too much black? In any case, excellent job. I have another question - do you paint white metal parts - it looks like you do. What do you use?

Re: WIP MFH Ferrari 512S Coda Longa 60 Red Years

I have questions too.
But first, great work J-M! specially on the seat it looks very nice.

Do the intake trumpets come with the kit with that finish or did you used something special to achieve that?
Also a little suggestion: the bolts on the reinforcements for the gearbox look kind of plain, I would suggest to pick them out by a wash or different gray. I don't know if they are supposed to be like that because I don't have reference that you surely have, but it kinds of stand out on a well weathered engine. Talk about nitpicking
