also John on my signature, l mean my car is slow.. or l am used to it so much thats why l feel like that. but l am sure mine is slower than other LT1s on the street. cuz l got missfire, auto (2.73s) and 135k miles..

sooner or later l will get an LS1.. l have gotta own another fbody.. otherwise l will die with my eyes open

l have to admit, l didnt post here, l had a hard time beating 2002 auto maxima from a dig up to 60mph. l remember l was so mad that night.


l am back home and l just owned a chrsyler 300 hemi from a 45mph roll.. he got passenger in his car.. l put on second and floored and pulled on him, up to 100mph l pulled on him then l saw he was kinda coming but the race was over at 120mph. (please do not give me any BS, l swear l am not BSing)

I think if your car was fixed up, like mentioned before, you would like it much more. I wouldn't mind owning a new mustang, I like them too, not as much as Fbodies, but definately my 2nd choice.

l love fbodies 10 times more than l love mustangs.. l sometimes defend fbodies on mustang forums and they all got so mad and attack me.

It's the same thing with some here, you can't pay attention to them, it's just an opinion. You obviously like the Mustang and it's your money paying for it, so enjoy it and forget what everyone else thinks.

when l got the car the car had 6k miles (never registered or sold. owner of the dealer drove the car march thorugh june and he put those miles on)
now l got 6.5k miles on.. l am the first owner.

Well then doodad and not to argue with you just a question cause I see you say all the time how LS1 and mustangs and other cars are so much faster than LT1's. If you have issue's with your car and you know there are issue's with your specific car. Why do you claim based on your car that all those cars are so far superior if you don't have a healthy car with a decent ratio to base that on?. I think you shoud realize much like your opinion that others are just being made the same way, They are just that and no one has set exactly what everyone has to agree on when it comes to what equals fast or slow. To some people like I said 13 second 1/4 cars are slow. So to them LS1 F-bodys and Mustangs and the LT1 F-bodys that have gotten into the 13's stock are all slow. Its not a attack just someone's opinion. Nothing to get in a uproar about and I think the popular opinion was that your car is sweet so don't let the random person who may not think the Mustang is hot or a good car let you feel differently about "your" car. If you like it and thinks its fast, thats all that matters.

PS- I really really really do want to put 3.73's in doodad's car, why the hell does he have to live like 18 hours away.

Like Curtis, stock ls1's are slow to him whereas a stock ls1 to me would be fast cos I've daily driven a 3.8l for years...
