The diorama really makes that Bel Air look wide!!! The car only just fits between the curb and the white line

Looks really nice! Going to put any trash in the gutter

Wow. That car looks great. An amazing hot rod.

Just one thing that kind of stuck out when I saw the car was, you rounded down everything, but then the bumps behind the driver and passenger are square.

You are right, and if I did the model again, I´d round the corners of the engine-cover, too.

Nevertheless, it is my first radical custom - and modelling is learning ;-))

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in Los Angeles, the spots are about that size if not smaller.

Nice job on that base. I would definitely weather the ground a little more with some oil spots and water stains, maybe with a wash.

This is really a very beautiful car. And now I can apreciate how hard it is getting the bodywork just right too so it's even more amazing.

Micha, I rarely download photos into my GSM but I did this time! I couldn't wait till, I get to my desk top to see how this is coming together

It is really impressive work and looks outstanding (even the square hood has grown on me )

The color looks great snd the way it sits so low on those wheels is great.

Is there/will there be a trim around the windscreen?

Wow,

thanx for your comments, guys .

Maybe building a custom can be compared to build a house: the first you built that you can see what you must change when you build the second one.
Nevertheless, I am rather satisfied.

Steve, the windscreen (which is the original rear window of the kit!) has got some fine posts at the side, hard to see of these flash-light photos.

I hope I can finish it in the next days and then I will post it in the gallery.
