hey everyone, was hoping to have the finished pics by now but at least the end is in sight. i still have to come up with the exhaust system and still have a few details to make yet. here i started the electrical stuff. the coil and volt regulator and master cylinder are scratch with some bmf on it. here i attached the lines before i glued the engine in.

here are the loose ends attached, turned out a little tougher then i planned. a white battery woulda been nicer i think but i only had one white diehard decal so i went with that. will start working on the steering shaft right away. (not looking forward to that)

thanks again for all the kind words everyone.
cheers.

Re: WIP: '57 Corvette prostreet

Super clean and precise job!

The wiring in the first photo looks like me on a bad hair day Well actually, that's the way my wiring looks AFTER I've finished

PS Can I request another close-up? I'd love to see better what's going on with the wheel hubs and brake piping etc.

sure thing, hope this one helps. like i said before, i wasnt planning on doing anything special when i started and the hubs are stock. i couldnt get them apart later on so i just added a piece of plastic to hint of a disc brake system. the lines are not correct for a corvette, just sorta made them up loosely based on a real corvette project i found on the net.

Absolutely beautiful build. Battery being black does not detract from the car. (Haven't seen a white one). Seems you have a common problem like I do. When you post a WIP nothing goes to plan. Oh well.
