Hey, guys, what's the song in the Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial right now? I heard it on the radio the other day, but don't know what it is...

i like those nissan commercials...funny stuff. i dont know if its already been mentioned(didnt read the whole thing), but the M5 with the camera on the side taping the rocket car. thats awesome. i like the porsche commercials too. i really like the viper commercial with magic carpet ride by steppenwolf playing in the background. i cant really think of the other ones.

Well, the televised new Eclipse commercial's song theme is called "Start the Commotion" by the Wise Guys. I never heard it on the radio, but then again, I've never heard a Mitsubishi commercial on the FM before. Check it out, it might be the same song.

Yeah, that's probably it. The song on the radio was the same as the song in the TV commercial. Sorry for the confusion. Do the Wise Guys have an album? (since Napster's dead, and I'm too lazy to find the next thing...)

Not sure, but if you have the spare time, try http://www.audiogalaxy.com It's really easy to use, much like Napster was. Just click to dowload the 'satellite' and follow the instructions. Basically the program uses a webpage and satellite simultaneously. A cool bonus: If you get cut-off, you can resume download from where you left off.

napster isn't dead. you can download "napigator." that gets rid of the filter that napster has. if you're banned for downloading metallica, like i was, just go to google.com and type in "napster fix." find a good site and follow the instructions.

Napigator isn't just about bypassing the filter that Napster servers retain. Their aim is to provide alternate file servers that haven't been bombed on by the courts. It's only a matter of time until they are shut-down or restricted as well. I stopped using Napigator ever since they became overloaded (especially the Music City servers) when Napster first introduced the filter. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of server-based protocols. It's time to move on...

If nothing else works for you, try Audio Galaxy. The various Gnutella programs have been extremely user-unfriendly with my slower hardware and connections. There are too many new filesharing programs to count these days, but so far I haven't had a single problem/complaint with AG.

Yeah, AG Satellite works great. I haven't had any problems with it, and my only minor complaint is that I can't listen to what I've downloaded so far half way through the d/l (on my slow 56K) like I could with Napster.

Actually you can; it's just not initially set up to do so. What you must do is associate the AG files to "open with" Winamp (or other mp3 player). When AG downloads a file, it is not labeled as ".mp3" until the transfer is complete.

While the file is downloading, double-click on it, and Windows should prompt you to select a program to "open-with" (since it doesn't recognize the new type of file). Choose your mp3 player and then you should be set. From this point on, all new AG downloads should be usable with the player, while it is still downloading.

The M5 in the Star movie isn't really flying by just going over that hill, if you watch the Driving Techniques and Making of the films movies then you will see that they set up a ramp then they later cut it out on a computer, but it is really in the air, not computerized. I also like the commercial where the M5 is taping that rocket car thing, and the WRX commercials are coo!

I like the mazda Miata commercial where the black miata is whipping through salt flats, and pulls an e-brake, and the car spins a huge 720's at high speed

I also like the Oldsmobile? commercial where the camera moves and everything morphs, you see the car drive, it zooms out, and the car passes an old tower, the camera zooms out and the tower turns into a rook in chess, the camera zooms out again and its 2 guys playing chess in a train, it zooms out again, and the car is parallel to the train
