have you seen the grip level that the sentra se-r has? when you see it corner hard, the inside rear wheel would always lift, thats how much grip that sucka has. and hmm let me think, a 180 hp car thats alittle lighter vs a 195 u.s. spec intergra type R slightly heavier. its pretty even to me.

Do you know what has change since that test? Was that car the same car consumers can buy now?

Do you have any idea what you are saying?

First Sentra SE-R Spec V has 175hp. Also it weights more than ITR does.

and only 140hp of that gets to the ground.... i'm sure the ITR doesn't loose that much power to get to the wheels

hey hey hey guys~ i'm just tryin to root for the underdog here. i know those facts that you throw at me is true, but still that doesn't stop it from being a nice car. sure it doesn't live up to the hype but i mean 0-60 in the 7 range is not bad. thats around prelude and gs-r territory.

That Sentra SE-R Spec V got tested 1 year ago. I don't think at that time Nissan was anywhere close to production specs yet. It could have been putting out more hp nobody knows.

GIVE IT UP F20c....acura didnt get greedy....the fkn motor is hand built so quit with your excuses and dont be mad cuz you paid 40k for a s2000 when you could have gotten a faster car for cheaper

B18C is not handbuilt but rather hand assemble. Please do know what you are saying before making a comment. For your information I pay MSRP on the S2000. You are right I could have gotten a faster car for cheaper price but it will be nowhere near S2000 in the overall aspect.

Acura Canada ITR $31,500 CDN = $21,000 USD
Acura America ITR $26,000 USD = $39,000 CDN

Honda Canada S2000 $48,000 CDN = $32,000 USD
Honda America S2000 $32,000 USD = $48,000 CDN

Can you not say Acura USA got greedy on ITR?

Motortrend and some autoshow had the spec v doing 0-60 in 6.9.
And I beat 2 rsx type s's with exhausts and they run 0-60 in like 6.8.

Exhaust on a RSX-S doesnt really add that much power.....maybe around 6 or so....the car is well tuned from the factory. So if anything the guys you raced just didnt know how to launch or had a bad run. I mean ive seen (i forget which companies) an RSX with intake, header, exhaust, and better tires....shave off .4 secs off of the quarter mile. It was in the RSX shootout in SCC....

I'll have to agree there, 7 grand would be enough for a real nice turbo setup

Grendel, your ride sounds good, wish I could turbo my 86 300zx, but I dont have the cash for a new motor + turbo right now.

I actually raced a C Coupe with my 2.5S altima, it was pretty even, I would have pulled on him if I was alone like him. But a SE-R Vspec will tear me a new one, if I could run next to a C Coupe, the Sentra will kill it
