well you said its "pretty easy to see" where $175,000 went, but unless u paid about $150,000 on your funny opening doors, i dont see it. all i see are wheels, bodykit, and funny opening doors. i was only asking where the rest of the money went, since i dont have x-ray vision or telepathy, i cant see where it went.

and yes, i do think they are funny-opening doors. they look great on a diablo, but on a mustang, theyre just funny, just like theyre funny on a prelude or a bronco, they just dont belong and dont look like they belong, therefore they look funny.

as far as this being money spent over time and thats why you didnt get a Ferrari 360, thats what financing is for, the Ferrari is money spent over time too, in the form of payments.

Like around 110k for the audi (the car itself) , a performance ECU for around 500$ , clear blinkers for around 30$ (LOL) , new model dash conversion like 3000 $ , TVs in the headrests and all the other goodies in the interior like another 2000$ , soon getting some 20"wheels , Movit porsche brakes for the front axle , new exhaust , suspension + spacers , window tint and a supercharged followed by a NOS installation i think... damn that would turn into a real sleeper... A stock S8 body (easily mistaken for an A8 by those who don't know) with a 4.2 liter 40 valve V8 with 7200 rpm redline , a supercharger and like a 100 hp shot of NOS.... should be somewhere near 600 hp... :licker: ... and 150k+

The porsche 952... the car itself costed like 10 grand... but it had a little damage on the left side and i bought it in the year 2000 and it's a 91... then i repainted it , put a new bi-color leather inside , a whole new audio installation worth like 5000 $ + (i got hooked up with it , normally the equipment alone would be 10 grand or more plus installation... damn)... then new wheels , 18" turbo design with like 10 tires (yeah i got some spare tires)... 235/40 front , 265/35 rear , whole new racing M030 suspension variation (adding spacers soon) , 928 rotors with 993 TT calipers soon to change to 993 GT2 brakes (rotors and calipers) , new license holders , custom license plate , a new boost gauge , overboost warning lights , gear display and gear change (redline) warning light....
I fucked up the stock engine , so now i have got a new engine (it's not installed in the car yet) it's a 3.0 with 4 valves/cylinder
the stuff i have got for the new engine (some not done/installed yet)
3.4L bore and stroke kit
new lindsey dual port wastegate
stage III mass air flow kit
a garret T04 hybrid on ceramic ball bearings
reworked cylinder heads
full 3" exhaust (no cat)
whole new clutch (on sachs components , some custom made ceramic crap , RSR style flywheel and some more)
boost controller
kokeln stronger engine and trans mounts
new injectors and fuel pump
new ignition wires
NGK plugs
eproms
fuel regulator
3 piece X-over pipe
an air/oil separator with new oil cooler
dual wet NOS system

all this connected to rear wheels via modified 928 transaxle and a 6-speed 968 gearbox with 40% LSD and a kokeln short shifter on top of that... A lot of other stuff too , i just forgot what i have been putting in there... basically everything... i know that it sounds stupid but i have put like 40 grand in a 10 grand car but ahh well you live only once right... Also i'll change most of the body into fiberglass so that should give me like 715 hp in a 1100 kg cabriolet... cool...

I didn't put much money in the 911 turbo but it'll have it's turn too...
Btw i have put down a deposit on the aston martin vanquish but i don't know if i'll take it or i'll settle down for the new SL55 AMG which is an amazing machine and costs a bit more than half of what aston costs... we'll see...:sun:

The only point is to increase your Compression ratio, but this can be done with jsut good tuning. Thats what i love about Spoon Civics, they don't use turbos or superchargers, but they can still do over 200mph. Plus they sound SOOOOOO Sweet. I mean whats scarier then a car that revs to 15,000RPM to shift? it sounds like a jet turbine!

If ya ask me Natural Aspiration is the way to go
What??? the reason for a turbo isn't to "increase compression ratio", it's to force more air into the cylinders! NA has nothing on turbo/supercharged cars, takes way more work to get even close to the same amount of power. I've seen daily driven turbo crx's that run 11's (mine will soon), how many 11 second all-motor CRX's have you see?

Gee, I've got... $95 for a set of mudguards... I think thats about it.

My other project, I have 2 days of work, and a debt of gratitude to my brother and uncle... I have to pay them back somehow... Right now, it is a 400M Ford smallblock. Based off of a 351 cleveland, but with horrible heads, a weak cam, and 50 more cubes... Once it gets a set of cleveland heads, a nice cam, and a set of turbos, I'm shooting for 600-700hp...

It will power my little RX7 project car. First gen, 81 RX7. Weighs around 2200-2300 lbs right now. The new motor is going to add about 200 lbs right now, but I'm not putting it in until it gets aluminum heads, and some lighter components. I'm shooting for 10s right now.
