Re: NSX Mobil 1 - Tamiya 1/24

Body has been clearcoated and waiting for some sanding process and one more coat. This time I'm using Finisher's Auto Clear.

I slowly finish interior details with some minor modifications (not in the pictures).

Excellent detailing, Maciek

The interior looks like it's going to be really good!

Love it. Damn it, every time I see a build like this I just want to dump everything and start a new model! Great work.

Incredible work so far. The body came out perfect, those have got to be the smallest A-pillars ive ever seen! lol
The interior stuff is coming out great! like the weathering.

Re: NSX Mobil 1 - Tamiya 1/24

Thanks...
Cage is still in form of styrene raw bars I have to wait a moment till body dries

In the meantime ... Seat painted and decaled with Studio 27 cevlar pattern.
One shot of interior - only dry fitted.

Next move: paint and decal interior, weather and glue all parts together. I think I will add some wiring to make it more "alive" as well as carbon decals on the doors

Re: NSX Mobil 1 - Tamiya 1/24

Body got last coat of clear. Fenders glued, front intake installed, panel lines darkened with Tamiya X-19 smoke (enamel).

I have bulit new upper part of a roll cage - I belive that final result will be nice.

Re: NSX Mobil 1 - Tamiya 1/24

I hardly ever come into the WIP motorsports side of the forums but this is truly great work. I have the same model and it is no where near the quality you've made yours to be. I'm tempted to strip mine and mail out for new decals to start over.

Re: NSX Mobil 1 - Tamiya 1/24

Just a few quick shots...

Body is almost done. Wing glued, fuel filers (Acustion), some nuts (Sakatsu), Honda logo (metal transfer).
Rear lamps painted, glued on top of Bare Metal Foil

I have added mesh in front intake (Studio 27 type B)

I will post better shots done at the daylight soon
