well cold air intakes, basically make your engine breath easier... they make an easier less restricted air flow.... and they make colder air. Colder air is more compressed so more can fit into the cylinder, therefor more power

wow i sound so smart when talkin about cars... but i fail at school, how does that work?

anyway, i'll let somebody else take headers

headers make your engine fart easier and depending on what you get can improve your back pressure providing optimized airflow going out. Intake goes in -- Headers go out... don't forget your cat back exhaust too...
