Well, if you plant to drive the car as it is and you have money, the track model is the way to go (i got a track for myself and believe me the brembo brake worth it). For those who want to get the touring one, the seats are really nice but the sound system not worth it cuz u can install a much better sound system and it will surely cheaper. If you love to be something different (like putting after market parts on your Z) the base is the best one. Well, that's just me.

Here for the pussy, man.

Track 6-speed- I'm off to the UK to test one sometime this year- it doesn't look like the Z will make it to Italy Hopefully it will- they'd be morons not to release it here

Oooooo . . . I'd better stay away from this forum . . . talking about the 350Z makes me really want one really bad. I've said to myself, "One more Z isn't gonna hurt" a few too many times.

I got the Black base model a couple of weks ago and it is kick ass. I drove the track model first and it cornered like you would not belive, but the ride was too bumpy. I decided to save my kidneys and got the base. The sound of the engine is great. I keep it under 4k rpm (or try to anyway for at least 1000 miles. What ever model you get you will not be dissapointed.

By the way, I bought the base model for 25,625$. The only options: kick plates, mud guards, floor matts, and cargo matt. This was only a couple of hundred bucks over invoice. I think I got a great deal and the dealer treated me very well.

imo get the base and them put all the nismo goodies....you'll end up smoking the track and you might even save some money

what is a full nismo package.....they only sell stuff separate...... btw be very careful so this won't be some salesman trick......they keep inveting stuff and overcharching for it..... get the nismo catalog and check the prices to make sure he's not ripping you off

I would love to be able to edit the options on the car. If it were me i would get the Touring model, with the leather interior with the heated seats, No bose stereo, crappy rims, and the brembo brakes. However, unfortunately, I dont think that that would be possible..

Re: Wut kind of 350Z would u buy?????
I was quite surprised on how much the base model doesn't come with. If you go to Nissan's website and compare the base to the next trim level up, the base model is missing a lot of stuff.
The base model does not have the following features: No auto tranny No viscous limited-slip diff No traction control system No vehicle dynamic control No HID xenon headlights No heated outside mirrors No UV-reducing solar glass No Tire pressure monitor system No Navi system option No Homelink universal transceiver No cruise control No auto-dimming mirror No dual illuminated visor vanity mirrors No power or heated seats No cross-drilled aluminum pedals None of these are even offered as an option. I guess this is how they keep the price just under 30K. Not even cruise control though! Ugh! |

Well, I was going to say that I would take any Z that I could get approved for... but damn it, I have a long trek from work to home and back, so I need the cruise control.

I'd buy the track model, in black. theres nothing better that a "black death" that sweeps through the streets (and tracks) with amazing speed of a 6-shift...except for a souped, hyped, Black Death, with those sweet custom turbos the size of your head...
