Re: Topless Trio: 365GTS/4 Daytona

Wow, great interior. I love tan interiors, and I think I might need to get some desert sand to do mine from now on!

Re: Topless Trio: 365GTS/4 Daytona

Wow 6 months since the last update?!?!

Just so MPWR doesn’t feel too lonely our there in this Topless Marathon of ours I’ll prove that I have actually been doing something with this.

On a small side note and admittedly self-defensively I’M THE ONLY ONE OF US THREE WHO DOESN”T HAVE A LATHE!!!!

Old –school mod number 1 – hood hinges

"borrowed" some p/e parts from te DM battery detailing set to make fixing eye hinges

Finished the seats and seatbelts

Hood lining with BMF

The Beast Lives!! i.e. "it works"

Interior is pretty much finished off

somre fun photography

See ya!

I think I saw your write-up on the door release wiring?!

Are you going to use those somehow to open the doors?

Looks great.

Ah, 6 months is nothing, but really nice to see this back in action all the same. Fantastic work you are doing here, (I'm glad you dont have a lathe, I'm jealous enuff as it is). This trio series you guys are doing is simply amazing. You sure have an eye for the delicate stuff and you make it look so easy. The engine bay is a jewel, doesn't even look like a model. Good work, buddy.

Re: Topless Trio: 365GTS/4 Daytona

Yes, but you seem to manage just fine without a lathe. (Hey, don't you have a Unimat or something?)

Incredible work as always. I've missed seeing your super detail scratchwork. I'm amazed by your bonnet support rods. And that battery. And the bonnet lining. And the....

It went to the big eBay in the sky...(sfx: heavenly music and the "ching-ing" of cash registers)

Thanks for the kind words!

Hi klutz~~~your works are just stunning!love the engine hood, looks so real,i do agree with gio,you have great hands!but there's something i have to say,i strongly suggest replacing the OOB wire wheels with model factory hiro kits.the OOB wheels DO NOT match your awesome daytona spyder!!
