According to what I have read in this thread concerning the definition of "the brain" and "the mind."

The brain is an organ inside of a humans skull which produces chemical reactions we call the thinking process or "the mind"

Cause=Brain (exists physically)
Effect=Mind (exists metaphysically)

Without the brain the mind is nothing.

Is this accurate?

Re: brain vs mind

uhh that doesn't even compare

It was string bean and lima bean.

YOU are asking if the mind can exist without a brain.

it's slightly different

you said lima bean loveseat, and he actually says strinne bean stripe patterns....

but maybe this is a question you can answer....would u rather be a person who has no mind (thinking process, memory, etc..)or a person who hasnt a brain (dead)? Is life worth living if one can't appreciate it?

I tend to disagree. I think you are proving only that you are less intelligent than us, who are hardly more than average.

So guys... what's the difference between music and a guitar? I really think they are kind of the same thing... aren't they? I mean, when you think about it...
