Yep- that Makotos car. There is a long story associated with the car... Some problems with Hiro and Motorex.... as usual.

Heres the car at RB- putting a twin plate Nismo clutch in it.

Just another Skyline....... if you guys are ever out in the LA area - make sure you contact RB... swing by. Lots of GT-R's there now....

All kinds of stuff being worked on. Do-Luck R32 , Veilside widebody R32, couple or 3 other R32's. Couple of R33's. 927 rwhp R32. Big Bird. Should be a racing R34 there soon too.. even a couple of Hondas , S14 , and a Typhoon or two.

I've wanted to see Big Bird for a few years... I've got to make sure to bring lots of film.

Re: import skylines to usa or websites for importing them to usa

RB is what engine was in Skylines from 1989-2002 (and a few before hand... Correct me if Im wrong).

GTRs had RB26DETT

RB = Factory Code... Rumored to stand for Racing Built
26 = 2568cc
D = DOHC (Dual Over Head Camshafts)
E = ECCS (Electronic Concentrate Control System)
T = Twin
T = Turbochargers

Other engines were RB20DET, RB25DET, RB30E, etc and they all break down the same way code wise.

RB Motoring's name is playing off of the engines rumored code name... Racing Built Motoring, Racing Bred Motoring... Get the picture?

Yes a play off the RB26..... took a little while to come up with a name that had a good catch...

Jack came up with the name and we all liked it.

Re: import skylines to usa or websites for importing them to usa

Yea I would suggest the RB swap...

My buddy picked one up, already built, for $15,500. With modifications under the hood, and on the body.

He got it dyno tuned the same day he got it, and its running absolutely amazing now.

He's beaten JZA80's with that thing

Re: import skylines to usa or websites for importing them to usa

1995 S14 with a JDM front end conversion, and a very clean body kit... Only thing was the 'dorifto' style CF Wing on the back... Looked ok, but a bit much for my liking.

I've only been taken for a ride in it once, and when the ride was over, I was laughing and shaking with excitement... Not many cars do that do me

The car is extremely fun... And Im pretty sure it could ram heads with a few Skylines. And guess what... You dont have to pay an additional $16,000 to get it on the road
