Re: Models that no longer exist...

Damn! What a shame. I bet the models that replace those will be even better. Thats why we do it...no?

Gah... not the beautiful Levin! The poor thing... The others are tragic too, but I liked the TE27 best.
Glad to see that you didn't let it affect your desire to build more kits

If someone had done something like that to me, there would be no working it out. To me, it seems extremely selfish and immature, and completely pointless. I know I don't know the whole story, but no matter how bad things get, you shouldn't destroy someone's art. I mean, what if Da Vinci had a girlfriend and she got pissed at him and burned the Mona Lisa? That just ain't cool. I'm sorry that it happened to you, but if you feel that it's worth working things out, then good luck with that. I would strongly suggest some sort of counseling. Ever seen The War of the Roses? The lady ends up killing his dog!

Re: Models that no longer exist...

Heh, actually it's given me a whole new outlook on building! I bought 2 Levin kits at the same time and I recovered the wheels from it so that one will be reincarnated only with a few variations. I have lots of Skyline kits so that's not a problem either. I made this thread to help others learn from my mistake: keep your models out of sight whenever you feel an argument coming!!! Life goes on!!!

Bummer to hear about that, but glad to see your building passion is unfazed!

RIP to the 240 and the 355...
