The R would beat the Z06 on a tight track. While the chevy has a slightly higher slalom speed, its tight corner handling is not as good as the R's, which has a more track suited suspension, better weight distribution, better chassis rigidity, and a shorter wheelbase.

BTW im not saying the R is a better car than the Z06, im just tired of u ppl saying "the zo6 beats it in every aspect"

That sounds right. The new Cobra with the blower will most likely be much slower than a Z06 in every respect. I just feel that the overall design is much too old to truly compete with a car as new as the Corvette (granted, 1996 isn't yesterday, but its still a great car). Case in point: the current Z3 is based on the E32 BMW sedan from the early 1980's. So, it rides poorly, and it can not handle with the current crop (this does make some really great oversteer, hence, the M roadster is Tiff Needles favorite car)
