Re: Got an LS....

Do you have to change tranny and axles and motor mounts for the zc swap?

Its just a joke of an engine. Why wouldnt you just save for an ls or a b16. There is less performance parts made for it than a 82 sentra for god sakes.

THE B18B1 WAS 140 BECAUSE OF THE HEAD DIFFERENCES

HOPE THIS HELPS
There are a few differences that make up for the 10-12 Hp difference. The 90-91 integra IM and EM are poorly designed. the Intake Manifold is 2mm smaller in the runner diameter than the 92+ and the Exhaust manifold is a cast 4-1 design while the 92+ are a more tubular header type 4-2-1. Also the 92+ ecu's are slightly better due to the newer OBD which gives them better tuning. Last but not least, the 92+ cams are slightly better.

Re: Got an LS....

Hey good luck on the project man.

Ok LS all motor is not exactly dumb. ITs just too much work and its pretty expensive to get it even in the mid to low 13s with them. IF you're goin all motor on the LS...add the vtec head and build it right.

a bseries TB will fit on the z6 and y8 manifolds only.

Re: Got an LS....

Well, damn it's been a long haul, but it's comming along nicely. Got my b16a pistons put on, new rings and bearings. Every gasket you can think of has been replaced. My head was also surfaced, checked for leaks/cracks/warps, new valve seals, and cleaned. I'm tired so I'll tell more later...

Oh yea, and I got my clutch/8lb aluminum flywheel combo also, thus pictures.

Taking the block out..

Block before clean and paint.

Kinda funny...

Very light flywheel...

Cylinders before cleaning them...

Cylinders during cleaning...

I didn't have an after 'cause my damn battery went dead. I'll post more up tomorrow maybe even an install pic!!
