I'd go with giving the kid a chance to live.

From my experience most people are willing to put in the effort to feed and house themselves. I say give them the chance - if they don't - then abort them.

are we still talking about the kids. and you preach human rights and the right to live, and yet you support the war in iraq. the loss of american lives and the loss of iraq lives.

abortion isn't the way. but until some one comes up with a way to save there young lives and give them a real future i would rather not see them beat and abused. on that day people will say about the parents they never should of had a kid. well they tryed to abort it but people got all upity about it.

Apples and oranges. Using that logic, then you should support the war in Iraq because the choice was made to go there.

I would rather not see them beaten or abused, but killing them is hardly a good option. If you want to give them a chance at a real future, I suggest letting them get born first. Pretty hard to make a life for yourself if your dead.

i would if i believed we were making things better. but this is a dead issue to me i know your thoughts on the matter and i doubt you really care about mine.

again i agree. they do deserve a far chance at life. on the same hand i know more then a few people that have had kids without being able mentally to care for a kid. these people ended up restenting those kids and yeah they ended beating them. every one of those kids ended up with there grandparents (thank god).

i am all for giving them a chance and i would glad take a abused kid in my house to give him a better chance. but i am only one man and not everyone would do that.

Abortion is a bad answer to the problem of neglect and abuse of unwanted children. Making a single mother shoulder the burden of an unwanted child or making a parent who is mentally unfit to care for that child isn't the answer either. Most abortions in the US are by single mothers who are unable or unwilling to take care of a child at that time. So why are those people having unprotected sex? Why are they having sex at such a young age at all? Why are the fathers allowed to just walk away? Because society says it's ok maybe? Because society says that abortions are ok and are easy to get? Because society says it's ok for the fathers to walk out on them by not forcing them to take care of their obligation. Look back 50 or so years ago. Society didn't say sex at such an early age was ok. Society didn't say abortions was ok. Society looked down on a father who walked out on his obligations. Unwanted pregnancy #'s were dramatically lower than they are today. They still happened but not nearly at the rate they are happening today. Promiscuity is seen as a good thing today where back then it was taboo. The problem as I see it is that the worlds moral value has become twisted. This isn't about religion. It's about people having respect for one another. It's about people having respect for the wonderful gift of life. It's about men having honor. Until we get that back (I doubt that will ever happen) then people will continue to slaughter the innocent with abortions (and yes war also).
