You know, it´s not that I don´t believe that it´ll give you a gain but the gain won´t be really noticeable on some cars. I´d say it´ll depend on what car you´re driving, too! IMO the gain will be higher with, let´s say a Civic base modell, than with an ITR for example because the stock ITR intake system will be damn good already. And people in the Prelude forum told me that the gain of an AEM CAI wouldn´t be that high on my Lude neither cause my stock intake is already very good, too. So I´d rather buy a new exhaust for a better exterior look then! |

![]() A powerbank... I think tcc has one (it's in a far memory of mine)... should be nice to test such things for ourselfs. (or a good magazine like master g says) Veetec, has your lude a twin tip exhaust 2 stock? with those fake shiny polished endtips... mine 2... that's why I'm busy with a new exhaust 2.

Mugen is nice, but way 2 expensive as you mentioned. I liked the dtm style, but over here mostly bmw's and vw's have them, so I don't want them anymore . Than I'll go for the japanese style, more exclusive 2.

But you´re right with the DTM style. A lot of cars are using them. But the problem is that there aren´t that many opportunities over here. The only street-legal and complete system I´ve found in germany is the DC-Sports one! |

You want a complete system? That makes it some more complex then, why wouldn't you buy a custom made exhaust system then? I think this is cheaper than a dc-sports. And be carefull with importing an exhaust from the usa, what I've heard of the lenght of the exhaust systems are not exactly the same! I don't know if it's your prelude version or the previous version. I hope a simota exhaust will fit mine, I already sent simota an email with some questions buth they haven't replied yet. It's an australian brand, strange that avb-sport import them but ok.

I´m not sure if a custom exhaust would be cheaper!? I mean, it hasn´t been dyno tested and stuff like that then. And I´m sure that the DC system would fit on my car otherwise they wouldn´t sell them over here. I just have to find out what it would cost me to get it through the "TÜV" and then I could order it a lot cheaper from the states. Simota? I think I saw them on the AVB-Sports homepage but not sure. I´ll check them out later...

We don´t have got anything like these gas station races over here (thanx god )! I´d guess that we don´t have got ANY real car club in my city. Maybe some "evil Opels" (german: Böse Opels) but that´s all......and not very much! And not to forget the people from turqey (not that I don´t like them...) with their phat pimp BMW 318i with M-badges all around (german rice )!!!
