Re: Camaro vs. 240sx

Just like to add a perspective from the Camaro Forum... to those who think that the earlier v8's suck because they only made 200+HP are all very ignorant and I have a nice 305 for you to race!!!
While yes only making lower HP numbers, you guys failed to mention the nice little fact that they make around 300lbs. of Torque. Isn't that what blasts you off the line? anyway...
The 240 shouldn't have too much problem w/ an old-ass v6 automatic.

ok listen dude the older camaro had a HORRIBLE top speed do to that horrible ass transmission in it. the V8's and the V6's were terrible in the early 90's and 80's because of the new emission laws. I mean look at the damn 80's corvette its a peice of shit. the 240 will have NO problem beating a V6 camaro it is NOT a drivers race it is pure Power/weight Ratio. EVEN a damn automatic 240sx could kill the V6 camaro. Idc what excuses any of you have the 240 will kill it. Give credit where its do older camaros SUCK PERIOD, off the line in corners its a horrible car thats why there resale value is shitty and thats why the Mustang Hatches can bitch em in the corners. we are not talking about SS's or Z28's first of all back in the 90's I dont even believe they had the SS's back yet. all they had were damn RS's and IROCs and I had a 98 V6 cam auto and I killed an Iroc. There heavy peices of udder shit. Talk about torrque all you want it doesnt rev, once it hits the max it wont have the HP to pull it to the rev line, THATS WHAT THE OLD CARB MOTORS DID. Dont get shit twisted domestic boys, Ive been there and Ide put $200 on the 240sx. Now stop arguing about pointless shit we all know the outcome of this race. Just accept it and move on
