Look at the spring rates... the higher the number the stiffer it is. Also look at the range of adjustment. Both of those are on the prices/app. page at TEIN's site. Also, I doubt either have this but features such as an inverted shock, monotube shock, or upper pillowball mounts are great. Lastly, call TEIN and make sure that they are both rust proof, some of their older models (TEIN HA, for one) have a real problem with that.

Re: TEIN Coilovers, Springs, EDFC - ALL Makes and Models

I am hearing that we already have 5 orders for coilovers.

I will be posting a confirmed update later today with the current numbers for coilovers and springs.

For pricing, please contact Horsepower House and speak with Drew Kung at: (859) 255-3142.

We are enjoying enormous interest in this group buy from all over the world.

Re: TEIN Coilovers, Springs, EDFC - ALL Makes and Models

Chlatboy, if you were rich then you wouldn't need the GB anyways. Here's what it would cost before shipping though, is it really hard to do the math? 1560 X .8 = 1248 for the coilovers, plus whatever they said the EFDC costs on the first page of this thread. Might I suggest getting the HE coilovers though, they are much stiffer, but are not compatible with the EFDC, but IMO that's pointless anyways. I'm getting HE for my S14.

SILVIA's rule!

basketballgod5: Nice S13. First of all what do you want to do with the car? What's your driving style? Do you want something fun or something comfortable?

Anyways, they both have rust prevention painting, which is good. The difference, besides the EFDC compatibility is that the SS come with a 16 way dampening adjustability. So you can make them a little softer for daily use, then make them a little stiffer for spirited driving or track use.

vti: You could have gone to their site (a link to it was posted in the first post) and gotten it from there.

$850 is for a full coilover setup, not just "springs". Read this post I made on page 2 and then you'll understand why the prices seem high, and that they're actually very reasonable for what you get even before the discount.

If you just can't shell out the cash for that now though, Tein has springs alone available for your Celica at $200, and that's before you add the discount.

Igor,
I just called (HPH) to place my order for a set of coilovers and an EDFC but Drew wasn't around (I spoke with Alex). Nevertheless I will be sending Drew my info shortly via email, along with calling him tomorrow to confirm that I am in the GB. Hopefully we can get enough people in on this GB to get 25% off .

Rick
