www.hobbyhq.com.au is having a sale on one of the R32 1/12 kits.. about $60 american dollars I think..

not sure if its still on.

Good work on the car bro, looks very professional.. can't wait to see the detailed engine.
EDIT : actually here is it

'f14102 Skyline GT-R (White) AXES series - 1/12 scale
Price AUD Reg: $299.00AUD Now: $199.00AUD '

so about $110-120 American?

dunno if its a good deal or not..

the pic with your hand in it really opened my eyes to just how big that thing really is!! your paintjob is awesome the color is just perfect for the R32 IMO. thanks for all the pics this has been a joy to follow. one thing is driving me crazy though is the cover on the cam gears (the piece that says RB26 on it) should be red, I think it would look much better, and that is the way it is supposed to be. not criticizing you at all, just a small recommendation. Awesome job!!

thanks for all the comments guys...

blueboost, your right in the R34, it is a red cam cover, but as like people with R32 and 33, the cover they change is only the top, very few people change the whole unit... got that from my cousin in hong kong... and some pictures i've seen of so called "JDM" R32s in the magazines in Jtown for all the racers in Japan, only the top over is changed, but the cam gears cover remains black... but if I can mix that red again to paint the gear cover, I will certainly make that bit of a detail.

As of tomolo... I will post some day time in the light pictures for you guys. Thanks for the posts =D

Not much else happening rightnow because school and everything. I will talk to you later guys!

Cheers,
Peter

Ok guys, here they are the requested GTR32 in the sun pictures. it is 10:56... i got class soon so no time for cleaning the dust and find the perfect focal point for pictures... some might be fuzzy... sorry =T.

Neither the less, here they are

Here is one from the front... sorry couldn't get the right settings and the front looks fuzzy

From the right side

From the left side with the doors open, sun is behind the car.

From the back of the GTR

Overall shot of the GTR

So that was the GTR in the sun day...

Car is still in its orginal clear stage, I've not done any sanding or polishing for the body, so it is not to the stage i want it to be yet.

I bought the flocking and the wires for the internals

Gotta run guys, class at 11:30!!!!

Leave comments, later!

Cheer,
Peter

hey guys, well its been about two weeks since my last update... many things have been going on including, summer school, my different egg space shuttle model, and then of course 4th of July... I havn't really been working on much on the GTR... but of coruse I don't neglect it.

So far when rsbousquet said the car looks funny without front head lights, that was the first thing that I've done, all the lighting in the car is complete to the box stock instructions.

Back tail lights have been fit in place and painted from the inside only the center with flat aluminum for that relflecting look only in the center.

Doors where set in last time, but there was no hinges or locks, so now the hinges and locks are set, so we can close the doors and they will remain closed. ( also the inside door panel also put into the model.

When the basic car is done, I will post pictures... its gonna be a few weeks, so bare with me, thanks for the support guys.

Peter,
Cheers
