Very nice and novel color combination!
of course, F40 wheels suit for it.

I think when the window trim is painted on and the wheels are metalized the color scheme will balance nicely.

That looks absolutely sweet. Nice color choice. If you use the F40 wheels, are they having the same size and width regarding the tires. Arenīt the tires on the F40 wider than on the 288 GTO. Nevertheless, I just love that build.

Re: Fujimi Ferrari 288 GTO Enthusiast kit progression sessions.
hmmm, how about the wheels with the knock-offs as on the 365 gt4/bb?
i think that'd look quite good. but then i'm a boxer freak....

I won't know for sure if they will work til I get further along, just looking at options for now.

sounds great, might even work out. I need to say again that I am impressed by so much love to the detail. Sadly enought that the engine wonīt be seen when the model is finished. (I know that EM models offer openable hoods, etc. but the 288GTO silhouette on display shouldnīt be destroyed by open hoods....)

It's good to see this build resurrected.
That interior will be too sharp..

Finally got window trim sprayed on.
The A pillars on 288's are suppose to be solid black but I did mine in a more conventional way due to my alternative paint scheme.

Re: Fujimi Ferrari 288 GTO Enthusiast kit progression sessions.
Hello,
I am somewhat new to model building. I'll be building the 1/24 Fujimi 288 GTO and am curious what paints were used in the awesome build progress pics above. I'm going to buy the Faux Fabrix textured spray paint recommended, and want to know what paints I should buy. Thanks for your help! |

Re: Fujimi Ferrari 288 GTO Enthusiast kit progression sessions.
This looks awesome. Other than the Faux Fabrix textured paint, what kind of paints did you use for metallizing and other engine colors?
