Fantastic work on the opening panels, and what a great colour choice! I'll be referencing this build when I eventually get around to building mine.

Re: Red Wine Jaguar XJ220

Little update:

Heat rubber band, thermo-tube and wire used to make couple cords under the hood :/

Unfortunatelly I understand that it turned out to thick, when I already glued it down.

That is how it looks like:

Front guides to correct marrie body and floor at front:

I used magnets to get doors slam well:

Magnets are marked by arrows. Slot for gas-lift mountings in the cirkle:

Gas-lifts. Bottom parst are fixing thin end of gas-lift to the hood lid and are hiding in slots (will show you later).

Doors with locker and corresponding pin on the body:

Power suply looks like that. Switch on the right, contactor - on the left. In the corner is the button from outside.

LEDs on the body:

Using magnet for keeping the door shut is a brilliant idea!

Very nice work you are doing here. I really like your innovation for materials and scratch building like using magnets for example. Every thing you have done looks great, especially the fuel lines and seatbelts. Looks great with the lights on. Very well done wip.

Absolutely stunning. I love the scratchbuilding involved with this project. I too am one to use what is laying around rather than to buy something that someone else did. I eagerly await the next update!

Very impressive scratch building. I'm surprised at the level of sheen you attained with future as your clear coat.
