Sorry XL you have some major issues man wake up, My Toyota has 330,000 Miles on it, Do you actually think your hyundai will make it that far, NO, and there is nothing wrong with driving a nice car, a bently at 300 Grand would be a waste in my eyes but to each his own. A lexus or benz at 40 Grand, Something comfortable, SAFE engineered, and quiet, hell no, maybe your just jealouse cause you drive a POS, At least dont diss on nicer cars, I admit I have an old truck, I dont diss on the old rich dudes rollin in TTporsche's pimpin it on college girls, If anything Im probly jealous, and cars are not just to get you from a to b, they are a hobbie for a lot of people, NOtice your on automotive forums.com, if all you care about is your car going from a to b why are you here?

Yeh i know Hyundais suck and they're slow and cant turn properly and have huge steering wheels and putt putt and everything falls about but you see I look past that and I look to doing it up so it DOESNT do that, I don't care how much money I'm gonna spend I just wanna show you guys that I can do this....and you guys r all the same with ur cars u put thousands into Amps and subs and new parts..this is the same..except to a bigger extent..lol..I see something more in a hyundai..
I just have faith that I can make a Hyundai..not break it...

I don't really understand your attitude to excels.
Does their popularity bother you? Do you feel insecure about the worth of your own car?
My 96 sprint goes really well after 6 years, is economical to run and a beautiful lilac colour. I don't flaunt it, I just love it and take care of it. It's my baby, like first cars are to most people. You don't need to justify how good your car is or put down other cars to make it seem better, all it needs is a bit of love, so make the most of it, and appreciate it, and it will love you back :flash:

I'm just heaps stubborn and if someone teases my car then ill tease theirs. If Jezza hadnt of started it i wouldve been fine. If someone loves a car i hate but still likes Excels good for them i wont bother them about any other thing, Ill just love them cuz they like Hyundais.
I just dislike when ppl put the car down cuz they've heard from a friends friends friends friend that they're car got a leak and ppl turned it into "the car got a leak which made the engine fall out" and it all gets out of hand.

People have the "If it's that cheap it must be crap" mentality and i only wish ppl would give them a try.

FAQ on Excels...

Yes - they tend to fall apart.
Yes - they are gutless when stock outta the factory.
Yes - they are limited in the amount power extraction from the engine with enhancements
Yes - tryhards who slap on a exhaust tip and think they can do 10sec 1/4mile times drive them (mostly).
Yes - they are for sweet Girlz like U XL.

You can’t just label all excel drivers as try hards- the ones that slap on an exhaust cuz all u other car drivers do it too and we do it cuz we love our car and wanna do it up, no biggey. Surprisingly the accent is number one small car and seems to be flawless in everyway apart from it looking like a dog but its still good that its got Hyundais name. I hope they remake the excel later on in life!!

Excels werent made for power, but the koreans actually focused on the electronics of the excel. It's pretty good u should look into it.

I didn't say all Excel driver's were tryhards, just that most tryhard-wannabe-racers drive Excels - These are the guys who line you up at the lights with the cassette deck pumping out distortion and they've just got there new 13" mags, 5" chrome tip and a "No Fear" sticker on the back windscreen - so that must equate to 5 or 6 seconds off their 1/4mile time. Pfft - Haha

Ok, maybe a bit stereotypical of me. These guys don't all drive Excels (just most of them).
