I wonder what it'll cost to insure me in either a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew 5.4-litre or 2005 F-250 6-litre PowerStroke..

I've been qouted on average of $1,000/6 months. This was averaged between Progressive, State Farm, and Nationwide. All 3 were within $50 of $1,000. To put things in perspective, I paid $600 for the car. I am 18 with no tickets or accidents, i live in a safe rural area, and I have straight A's. This was for 100,000/300,000/25,000 liability, with 50,000/100,000 uninsured and underinsured, and $500 deductibles on collision and comp. According to my folks, my insurance right now is about $700 per 6 months, and I am on their policy, with 5 other vehicles.

30 dollars a month, for liability only, as a weekend driver. i also have full coverage on my 2004 neon that costs me 100 bucks through travelers. my 2008 r6 costs me 152 a month, which is horrendus, but was the cheapest i found compared to 235 which was the next lowest.
