I feel a little silly for not making this connection before, especially since the Z1's mirrors were also borrowed for a few F1s. Maybe I am the only person who did not realize this?

I was having a chat with someone over the past two days and they shared this fact and it was immediately obvious they were correct. The Z1 is even a car I like so I really feel a little foolish for never recognizing this on my own.

This still doesn't answer the 'Why?' part of the equation, but maybe someday we will hear that rest of that story.

I also feel silly as they're very obvious. This makes me wonder what other components were used from the Z1. Really, those headlights were staring everyone in the face (no pun intended) for years now! Up to this point, the F1 has borrowed fine parts from the Z1 ... no complaints here at all.
