Re: Making of SUZUKI GSX1100S KATANA

I hope that dragging this one up is ok, as I have a question for you.

Im currently working on a Tamiya Ducati, and Ive decided that I'd like to tint the windscreen, and achieve a look almost exactly like what you showed in this image, if not a little bit darker:

My question is what did you use to get it tinted? Ive been searching the forum for close to an hour now, looking at different threads relating to tinting, and so far Ive not found much in the way of useful information, but several topics covering what doesnt seem to work. I have a bottle of Tamiya X19 Smoke, and was wondering if that was what you used to tint your windscreen.

Just curious to see a japanese guy here, I have a great admiration of how all of you made the things and how the people is, the life style, the nature... and more things that I can't say I love that country just I would love to go to Japan, if someday I go I will ask you for the best shows there .

I used GSI Creos Mr.Color 'Smoke Gray'(color code:C101) by air brush.
I think Tamiya X19 Smoke would be fine either.

Re: Making of SUZUKI GSX1100S KATANA

Thank you Kunta.

I went to my local hobby shop last night, and got a can of Tamiya's TS71 Smoke, and Im going to try using that to tint the windscreen.
