Most of these songs have either a alot of Bass present in the melody or are lead by a Bass tone.

Also dont forget the Load/ReLoad albums were heavily influenced by both Kirk Hammet and Jason Newsted. Lars and James basically let them play what they felt like.

both have really electronicish but sweet bass. I could listen to both all day
