Re: Late Night Run

S2000 - Engine horsepower 237-hp @ 7,800 rpm
Engine torque 162 lbs.-ft. @ 6,800 rpm
Curb weight 2,855 lbs.

SVX - Engine horsepower 230-hp @ 5,400RPM
Engine torque 228 lb.-ft. @ 4,400RPM
Curb weight 3,525 lbs.

Like the people said, you might've had a chance from the light, but I doubt you kept pulling him, especially considering the near 650lbs weight difference...also, how you know he wasn't auto? You said he kept rocking back and forth, I'm guessing you guys were on an incline? Well, I know people that do that in autos too so...

S2000 never came in an automatic... 6-speed only.

yeah i expected the SVX to get the launch and figured it'd get its heiney spanked from there. considering the weight of the car, the power deficit and the fact that it's AWD i have a real hard time believing it pulled on the S2K up top.

Re: Late Night Run

No we werent on an incline. He revved enough 2 start 2 go forward and then he would slide back some. I mean he barely moved forward (not even a full tire rotation) then he would cost back.

Re: Late Night Run

RPM transmissions call thier trannys stage 5 (the one for the TBSS anyways). So maybe he does have a stage 2 transmission. Just my 2 cents.

Have a nice day.

Re: Late Night Run

No pictures of his car, no pictures of the other cars, we've seen this before. No SVX, no 6-speed Charger, no '68 Camaro, no 2000 Camaro, and lots of "revving." Come out, come out Anthony, or are you his evil twin?

Re: Late Night Run

No way you beat an S2000 in that car. You might have hung with it at best.
