My brother has a Stigmitism, and wears soft contacts.
They weight them, so they sit the right way round in your eye.
But they are expensive, about twice what mine cost.

I've got soft lenses. Not even gas-permeables... Focus Torics are amongst the best soft toric lenses on the market, but they are pricey. I am now using some off-brand that kinda sucks, but I can almost afford them on a yearly basis.

Thanks for the tip It was quite a few years ago I was told about the stigmatism, I guess contacts have moved on a bit since then. Looks like I'll have to go and have a word with the optician.

I wear Focus soft contacts. I wear the colored ones as they are easier to find when I drop the bloody things. The new solutions mean you don't have to rub them, take em out, drop in the solution and rinse them in the morning. Easy... I'm using the green ones during winter and the dark blue ones during summer (it's actually quite a difference - the blue ones seem to take up some of the haze and the green ones seem to make things clearer @ night).

They are disposable and I wear them everyday, all day and have no troubles with them. Just change them every monthly pay day.

I took up wearing them when I realised that I was having trouble reading the numbers on the back of my defenders jumpers (I was a goal keeper @ soccer in Senior A Grade) and because I was sick of wearing glasses when skiing. I used to wear glasses but find the contacts also help with peripheral vision esp driving and playing sport.

I'm considering getting LASIK done as I still have troubles playing golf with contacts in windy or rainy conditions (which is why Tiger had it done) and likewise when sailing. But considering I don't do these more than once a week - I might leave it for a while.

Acuvue contacts here. I have a pair of glasses but I only wear them when I have to. I hate glasses, they always get sweared up.
