Mitsu Lancer WRC '05 : GiGi Galli Tour de Corse 2005

Hi everybody

I show to you the update of the Mitsu WRC.

To begin, I wanted to varnish the body and disaster !!

The vernish was matt, there was a lot of metalic particules and the decals was attack





So for me the vernish is over Not want to break my body every time.

But good news, the decal was good now (miracle !) and the default wasn't very visible. Ouf !!!!

Now, this is some parts which are ready to fixe into the chassis :













On the last photo, I modify the control lever of the gear box like the reality.

Next, I made some modifications on the seats and the rollcage.

In fact Galli didn't use seats with lateral renforts so I was oblige to use 307 WRC's seat and so I have to modify the seat fixations too because in the 307's seat there is not this system :





Now the modifications on the rollcage. I made those modifications principaly on the back of it :

And to finish, the disaster I made on the dashboard before painting it :





It is completely twisted, spin so ready for throw it

So I will oblige to make it by plastic cards or maybe a person in Belgium has got this parts in double. We will see but this step slows my progression

It´s a pitty what happened with dashboard, but I`m sure you will solve it without problem. You have demostrated your solvent during all process.

sorry to see the dashboard so twisted. But the steering wheel and console between the drivers looks stunning! Very nice work. What parts did you use for the seat-base? looks good!

In fact, I used the piece in photodec inclued in the Fabia kit because I didn't use them.

Morover, a friend said me that he has got a dashboard so I'm happiness

The body isn't finish yet. I have to put the GPS and paint the protection in front of the car.

Now photos of the chassis : I had work 6 hours on the roolcage to put some cables,and 3 cameras :

For sure there are a lot of defaults but I'm really happy about the result

For the next update, I will reserve a little surprise wich will be perfect for this car.

Is the inner fender at the front, suppose to be visible. Now it can be seen in white.
