The area i come from it wouldn't be unusual for someone to hit a horse. That sucks though, at least you got her fixed up.

That is a LOT of mileage, my GTP currently has 246 000km, but i'm dropping a low mile L67 in it late spring early summer. Have you ever done the intake gaskets?

All repairs paid for by the insurance company.
I did the intake gaskets last june at about 306,000 miles. If the motor craps out, I may get another one to drop in it. I love this car.

Definitely, if anything goes on your motor, i would recommend an L67 swap. I know many guys who have done this and are extremely happy with the results. With a few small exceptions, these motors are bulletproof. Too bad i can't say the same for the trannies

out here it's "open range", the cows and horses have right of way. if you hit one your insurance has to pay for the vehicle and the animal. good thing is i have a freezer. horse meat is nice and lean like buffalo, under US laws you can't sell or trade it but you can eat it.
