LOL thanks because I thşnk I am about the get flamed for what I will write

I really would like to know why everyone (at least seems like it) likes this car? we are talking about a company who made legends, 330p4, 308, 328 oh my god the F40 and F40LM then something gone wrong... they made the F50. It was acceptable and I said ok this is ferrari we should love it.

but then came the Enzo. I think this car is a total disrespect to Enzo Ferraris name. It may be a tecnological endevour but when we talk about ferrari we talk about sex appeal and that look. All the ferraris when you look at them makes you think ohhh woooow. then you look Enzo and think "wtf"

In the sex appeal department this car is as sexy as Barbara Streisand. Oh then they made the FXX. I want to puke when I see this car. It is disgusting eeeewwww yukkkkk.

I look at two cars Ferrari made.... F40LM and Enzo FXX.... come on someone has to see something gone wrong in between. I think I am left behind in the old days of glory of McLaren GTR F1 where looks of the car said "I am a Fak ka!! or it said "I own the road!"

oooohhhh by the way sorry for the major thread Hijack...

I'll go back and build my Ferrari 348Toughbeard then a 575GTC (which is sex on wheels) I wish you guys build more of the worthy ferraris and leave the junk and the hipe aside , because it pains me to see the spectacular workmanship wasted on this particular car.

Cheerz everyone!!! (TB starts running the opposite direction of the mob following him )

Hey buddy you know, Piero Ferrari himself is proud of the "wtf" car. "This car is the perfect embodiment of what my father would have called a 'symbolic car', because in addition to offering everything that racing has ever taught Ferrari, it is a 12-cylinder, just like the first car he built back in 1947. At that time, other italians were designing Lambrettas, Vespas and Mosquitoes, but he came up with a big 12-cylinder! He put his whole being into it, including his unconscious mind. To him, road cars had to be as close to racers as possible: that was the only way to design them and this one is exactly like that!" said Piero after seeing the car and heard about Serigio Pininfarina's idea of giving the car the name "Enzo".

Just a small story, no aiming at your comments. All I'm trying to say is beautiful/sex could be defined widely divergent in each's mind, and spirit could be a little bit different in different periode. In my opinion ferrari is not going to make a car that everyone could love it, actually we all know there's not such a car, they're just building dreams like they used to do, and they're always doing the right thing so far IMO. So there's something that attracting me to love their works of art, I don't know but it's just like an act of god. I guess there're a lot of people like me.

So please try not to be confused of seeing the loves of the "wtf" ferraris, at least they're ferraris.

Re: Jean Todt's BFC FXX

lol the thing is the car is still ugly and a waste of very useful CF

of course I know everyone has a taste. And my taste is more 575GTC. And understand that I am not bashing the cars potential. But a company such as ferrari who built car so beautiful and elegant should not have built this car let alone name it Enzo.

Dear Piero might be proud of it... I am ashamed of it as a Ferrari fan...

Re: Jean Todt's BFC FXX

Wow, good thing you only hate it for its looks. The Enzo was designed to replicate the form of an F1 car, period. Look closely at it and you can easily see this. I too hated the way it looked at first until I understood what it truely was about. Once I did, I realized that it was the finest car to come out of Modena ever! We all like what we like, that is human nature. Don't bring something like this up in the guys WIP thread though.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Personally, the F40 is my fave when it comes to modern Ferraris, but to compare the Enzo to Barbara Sreisand is grounds for banning.. heh, heh.. it is a sexy machine. I dunno if you've seen one in person, but to just be around it is awe inspiring. I and i'm sure many, MANY others like the look of it and yes, the sex appeal is there, although, that's far from the reason I like Ferraris. I could care less about using a car to get some tail.. I like Ferraris for me.

Like I said mechanically it can be the best my problem is the looks.. I totally agre that this is the best car "mechanically" that came out of modena. maybe in 4000 years it will be a classic

I am anxiously waiting for him to do more updates like everyone else is If we post more maybe he will come and take his thread back

we want more updates

Bah! You're all just jealous because since I'm doing a bare carbon fiber car you won't get the chance to vote in my "What color should my FXX be?" poll...;-)>

Re: Jean Todt's BFC FXX

Nothing really to update. Basically waiting on a $200.00+ order for supplies to be filled (I'm running out of everything!). The dash is almost done as is the engine, exhaust, body and chassis. Do y'all really want to see pics of a TS-29 body?

BTW, have you seen the seat pics?...;-)>

Just to add my 2 cents-worth of WTF to this hijack

I shared your opinion until I actually saw it in 1/1. Then I decided it's not actually fugly - just different.

Over to you Bill....
